"Interlude With  A Sea Nymph"
Ron Kinard (c) 2006

She came
Within the mist of a dream
Beautiful and alluring

A prime example of

Exquisite womanhood

Her skin was silk

Unblemished, soft, perfect

Her eyes were alive

Dancing with the fury of Mother Nature

Her hair was golden flax

Long and flowing

Dripping of the sea

Covering up her

Barest essentials

She had the essence of a goddess

She commanded attention

Her only purpose, her desire

To seek out the lust

Of a mortal man

To fulfill her unquenchable thirst

Her needs, her passion

Aroused and awakened

She took me

Almost violently

Like an unbridled storm at sea

Shaking, trembling

She was insatiable

Riding me endlessly, as she would the waves

Until her satisfaction

Drew nigh

There was no tenderness

No love, no mercy

As a tidal wave of emotion

Swept forth

The pain of the oceans unleashed in

A volcanic climax

Exhaustion was my savior

Wearily, I slept

Still haunted by this dream

The memory, the reality

Of this insatiable Sea Nymph

As I write this

My life was changed

Forever and completely

Never again, will I

Look at a woman

Or a glass of water

In the same perspective

This one was written because of my "muse"~ thank you!
